Martin visited schools & gave an English lesson
October is an entrepreneurial month in Estonian schools and people are invited to talk about their careers & learnings. Martin visited 2 schools and hosted 3 class visits at Bolt office in Tallinn.
MyStory is an Estonian initiative that invites entrepreneurs visiting schools and telling about their career path, success and challenges, learnings to inspire young people to find their passion and path in life. This year over 200 people visited schools and Martin gave his talk in Kallavere school in Maardu.
Martin visited Saku Gymnasium to give an English language lesson about Future of Transport. The lesson happened via Estonian charity Replacement Teachers (Asendusõpetaja), a platform helping schools to replace lessons where teachers are sick, traveling or away for additional training. The platform has over 900 people signed up and it's currently replacing & matching over 1000 school lessons each month.
Martin hosted 3 class visits (total over 100 students) to Bolt's Tallinn office, explaining platform business model, growth story and role of software engineers. Students had many questions and good opportunity to learn about challenges of fast growing company.
